According to the sources, Riyadh’s request was met with opposition from Ansarullah officials.

Sources close to the Yemeni negotiating delegation in Muscat stated that after receiving the message indicating Riyadh’s retreat from its recent hostile positions, Sana’a stressed that it is seeking serious and genuine guarantees to secure the interests of the Yemeni people, particularly regarding an end to the blockade, the payment of compensation, and an end to Saudi Arabia’s interference in Yemen’s internal affairs.
