VP: World must not forget Minab incident

Vice President for Women and Family Affairs Zahra Behrouz-Azar says that just as the global community has preserved the memory of Hiroshima, the US attack on Minab must neither be forgotten nor obscured by distorted accounts and revised terminology.

Referring to the necessity of supporting the families of the martyrs of Minab, Behrouz-Azar said that no child, in fact, no human being anywhere in the world, should ever fall victim to such oppression and criminality, addign that the entire nation of Iran partakes in the sorrow of the families of the Minab martyrs.

Pointing to the measures taken by various institutions to support the bereaved families, she said the Martyrs Foundation, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, and the Seraj networks are each doing their best to stand with these families.

Documentary filmmakers, directors, writers, and journalists who have endeavored to capture the various dimensions of this incident must persist in this endeavor, so that what occurred may be conveyed to future generations as a dark chapter in history.
