Zionist Regime Mired in Structural Crises: IRGC

The Al-Aqsa Storm Operation marked the beginning of the end of Zionism and shattered the myth of the Israeli military’s invincibility, the IRGC said, describing it as a historic event that accelerated the decline of the Israeli regime.

Zionist Regime Mired in Structural Crises: IRGC

In a statement issued to commemorate the third anniversary of the operation, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said the Palestinian resistance and Hamas fighters carried out one of the largest operations in the history of resistance on October 7, 2023, breaking through the Israeli regime’s security structure.

It said that three years later, regional strategic equations have shifted in favor of the Resistance Front, while the Israeli regime and its main backer, the US, have become mired in structural crises and repeated failures.

The IRGC said Al-Aqsa Storm, which it described as an “event that shapes the future,” permanently destroyed the myth of the Israeli military’s invincibility and turned the Resistance Front across the region into an undeniable strategic reality. It said Resistance forces from Gaza and Lebanon to Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Iran have challenged the Zionist regime and its US and regional supporters through coordinated action.

Pointing to developments on the battlefields, the IRGC said the Resistance Front has maintained significant coordination in confronting the US-Israeli threats, plots and imposed wars, and has recently inflicted “deadly blows” on the Israeli regime and the US through precise and powerful operations.

The IRGC also cited the strategic defeats suffered by the US and the Israeli regime in the second and third imposed wars and subsequent Iranian operations, saying Washington has failed to achieve any of its declared objectives despite its full support for Israeli actions and repeated threats against Iran. It added that Iran’s Armed Forces have responded decisively to the wars, demonstrating that the era of cost-free threats has ended.

The statement warned that any miscalculation or attempt to launch another war or aggression against Iran would bring a “painful and devastating” response against the aggressor, saying recent regional developments demonstrated the Resistance Front’s strength against the US, the Israeli regime and their regional and extra-regional allies.

The Zionist regime is facing economic, political and international collapse, while the US is confronting major challenges, particularly following Iran’s closure of and firm management of the Strait of Hormuz, the statement said.

It emphasized that the Resistance Front has remained standing despite heavy pressure and the loss of senior commanders, adding that the US and Israeli efforts to weaken, defeat and fragment Iran as a regional power have failed.
