Mohammad Eslami emphasized the importance of control and instrumentation systems in strategic industries, explaining that critical sections of refineries, petrochemical plants, steel mills and other industrial facilities rely on systems responsible for controlling and managing industrial processes.
Damage to those systems, he added, could disrupt the operation and functioning of industrial units.
He noted that restrictions on procuring and repairing some of these pieces of equipment from abroad have created challenges, adding that the AEOI has relied on domestic capabilities and the expertise of Iranian specialists to manufacture the equipment in accordance with up-to-date standards and supply the products needed by various industries.
Stressing that nuclear technology is not limited to a narrow range of applications in a single field, Eslami said, “Nuclear technology is the technology of life, power and progress,” adding that the Iranian people have the right to benefit from the capabilities of this advanced technology.
He further stated that achievements resulting from the efforts of Iranian specialists are being continuously updated and developed through existing structures and mechanisms, a process that could pave the way for further advances in scientific, industrial and technological fields.
